How to Play

Press the “Buy Tickets” to buy your Lotto Max tickets online.
Select how you would like to play: choose your own numbers, use a favourite past purchase, or randomly choose your numbers by selecting a quick pick option.
Select the number of draws you would like to purchase. You can purchase up to 25 draws at once.
Select if you would like to add EXTRA to your purchase. If you have selected Advance Play, EXTRA will be applied to all tickets within that selection.
Review your shopping cart before confirming your purchase.
Press “Checkout” to proceed to payment.
Once your purchase is complete, view your tickets in My Account.

Subscriptions

Lottery subscriptions are available for purchase on all lottery games offered on Play Alberta.
Your subscription automatically purchases your pre-set lottery order for all draws of said lottery each week.
To subscribe to a specific lottery:
- Click “Buy Tickets” on the lottery you want to subscribe to.
- Select your tickets. Either do a Quick Pick or choose your own numbers, then select “Add to Cart”.
- Before you click “Checkout”, click "Yes" in the Subscribe field for the tickets you just purchased.
- It’s that easy!
Your shopping cart total will now include the cost of your first week of the subscription.
Shopping cart transactions that include a subscription require payment by credit or debit card and do not allow the use of deposit promo codes.
A recurring payment equal to the amount of the first purchase will be charged to your selected payment method each week until the subscription is cancelled, the subscription is put on hold, or the recurring purchase fails.
To view or cancel your lottery subscriptions, choose the subscriptions option under the Lottery heading in My Account.
Select Cancel Subscription to cancel or Upcoming Draws to view future tickets.
