Wagering Requirements - Contributions Per Game

Not all games on Play Alberta contribute equally towards wagering requirements. Some contribute more than others, allowing you to fulfill your wagering requirements faster. Some are slower, and some don't fulfill wagering requirements at all.

A complete list of wagering requirement contributions per game can be found below.

Games that contribute 100% towards wagering requirements:

Example: Bet $10 on these games and $10 are reduced from wagering requirements.

Almost every game on PlayAlberta.ca contributes 100% to meeting wagering requirements. For the few exceptions to this, please see the 10% and 0% wagering lists below.

Games that contribute 10% towards wagering requirements

Example: Bet $10 on these games and $1 will be reduced from the wagering requirements.

Lottery purchases do not contribute toward wagering requirements, including but not limited to the following:

  • LOTTO MAX
  • WESTERN 649
  • WESTERN MAX
  • Purchases of "EXTRA" on any of the above

Sports:
Sports bets do not contribute toward wagering requirements.
