How to Play Winter Wilds

When Winter Wilds loads, a welcome screen appears outlining many of the game’s key features. Once you are ready to move on, you can select anywhere on the screen to continue to the main game screen.

Winter Wilds is a cluster-creating game played on a 5 X 3 grid.

The game begins by choosing your ticket cost. Select the stack of coins icon next to the Play button on the main screen to open the Ticket Cost screen and display all available values. Slide to your desired stake by clicking or dragging, and when satisfied, click DONE. Please note that increasing your stake will increase Winter Wilds’ maximum potential payout as well.

When you are ready to confirm your ticket purchase and initiate the game, select the PLAY button, located in the lower middle of the screen. 15 symbols will fall onto the game board.

Match 3 or more of the same symbols, though they must be connected by sharing a common side, to create a winning cluster. The winning amount will be displayed before the winning cluster disappears from the game board. New symbols will fall into the now-empty spaces (that had held the clusters). Any additional winning clusters that are now created will grant additional cash prizes. Several clusters can form during a single round, with all wins paid. The round is over when no new clusters are formed.

Prizes are determined by the symbols’ values as displayed on the Prize Chart, with Ice Skates, Hot Cocoa, Gloves, and Hats the highest-paying symbols.

Wild symbols (Acorn) can fill in for any symbol to complete a cluster with a minimum of 2 side-sharing matching symbols, except for Coins, Treasure Chests and Bonus Symbols. The Bonus Wheel Round, with a guaranteed prize, is activated when 3 Bonus Symbols (Snowflakes) appear on the board.

When the Bonus Wheel Round opens, select the yellow PLAY button in the middle of the wheel. It will spin once to reveal a number of Free Spins or a chance to play for a Progressive Jackpot. Bonus Wheel rewards vary, with each Bonus Wheel displaying different prize options. The Jackpot rewards are shown above the Bonus Wheel, with 3 Progressive Jackpots possible: Minor, Major and Epic.

During the Bonus Wheel Round, reveal 3 Bonus Symbols to trigger Free Spins. Free Spins awards will be displayed in a new screen, showing the number won (from 5 to 15). As you play through the Free Spins, the remaining number will be shown. Win cash prizes by revealing clusters with a shared side as in the main game. Wild Multipliers (2X and 3X) act as substitutes to complete symbol matches and increase your payout. Please note: during Free Spins, the Bonus Wheel can be retriggered with the same rewards as the previous round.

The Treasure Chest Collector prize is triggered by revealing a Treasure Chest symbol and 2 or more Coin Symbols on the game board. The Coins display a prize amount, equal to the amount they pay.
